BlizzNux has two kinds of content, and it is worth knowing which is which.

Updates are automated

The threads at the top of the front page are posted by a bot. It watches the things that actually break Blizzard games on Linux and posts when one of them changes:

Proton and Proton-GE releases
Wine, Mesa, DXVK and vkd3d-proton releases
NVIDIA driver releases
Blizzard game builds, read from Blizzard's own version service — when a build number changes, the game patched
ProtonDB rating changes, where a rating exists

Every one of those posts carries a line saying it is a change notification and not a compatibility test. The bot has no graphics card. It never launches a game. It only notices that something moved.

Reports are not

Whether a game actually runs is answered by people, in Reports. That is the part of this site with any value, and it is the part a machine cannot produce.

This matters more here than on most sites, because for six of the eight games there is no automated compatibility data anywhere. ProtonDB is sourced from Steam, and only Diablo IV and Overwatch 2 are published there. World of Warcraft, StarCraft, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Diablo III and Warcraft III have no rating at all — not here, not anywhere. What gets posted here is the only record.

The tags

One primary tag per thread, for what kind of thread it is:

Reports — did it run, on what, and when
Distros and Drivers — kernel, Mesa, NVIDIA, distro packaging
General — questions and everything else
Updates — automated, upstream changes only
Meta — this thread, and anything about the site itself

Then up to three game tags for what it is about. Battle.net launcher is one of them, because the client breaks independently of every game it installs.
